SM-010 MONAURAL POWER AMPLIFIER SIGNATURE SERIES

The SM-010 is the outcome of many years of dedicated efforts by designer Hans-Ole Vitus. From the very start, his aim has been to bring out the best in musical recordings, using his experience as a musician. 

Everyone who hears an SS-010 immediately falls in love with it but for some it does not have enough power for their loudspeakers. After many requests we went about addressing this in the form of not one but two new products - the SS-050 and SM-010. 

Based on the SS-010 design, the SM-010 takes the same striking performance and pushes it to a new level. It does this by putting a single channel in its own chassis, with its own dedicated power supply and components, creating a monaural amplifier. Doing this effectively isolates it from interference to a much higher degree. 

The most noticeable immediate difference is the increased power delivery that theSM-010 brings. The soundstage is wider, deeper and the bass tighter. The SM-010 also allows for matching with a larger choice of loudspeaker, particularly inefficient models. 

Again the SM-010 uses only matched transistors and super precision resistors to ensure optimal working conditions for the different stages of each module. This combined with a special coupling of each input stage, results in an ultra linear frequency response. The result is a power amplifier, capable of exposing micro details/dynamics never heard before without compromising the coherence of the recording. It is part of the Signature series, which contains only the finest electronics we can make.
