Built for the loudspeakers that ask the most
Each Mono One delivers substantial power and current from a fully linear, solid-state output stage — with an extra set of parallel output transistors fitted specifically to maintain composure into demanding loads. The Mono One pair adds significantly more capacitance and more discrete circuitry than its stereo siblings, reflecting the additional headroom and grip that monoblock construction makes possible.
Because each channel has its own dedicated chassis, its own power supply, and its own output stage, there is no crosstalk between left and right — no shared supply rail, no shared ground, nothing for one channel to impose on the other. The result is an exceptionally low noise floor, an unusually clean sense of channel separation, and the kind of effortless spatial layering that only true mono construction can deliver. Both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs are provided, so the Mono Ones pair as comfortably with a traditional preamplifier as they do with the Pre Two at the head of an Alluxity system.
For the listener whose loudspeakers, room and ambition justify it, the Mono One is the most complete expression of what Alluxity by VA can do.
