The Pre Two Mk.II draws the whole of your music collection into a single, beautifully resolved component. A fully balanced, module-based preamplifier with a built-in DAC and streaming engine, it brings analogue sources, digital sources, and the wider world of networked audio under one roof — and under one elegantly simple interface.
The casework is milled from a single billet of aluminium with internal pathways engineered for natural airflow. A 5-inch colour touchscreen places every input, every setting and every status readout directly to hand. And as the aesthetic and physical match for the Power Two, the Pre Two Mk.II completes a system of remarkable performance in a remarkably small footprint.
Considered, in every detail
At the heart of the Pre Two Mk.II sits a fully balanced, module-based architecture, with discrete gain modules designed and built in-house and a high-resolution relay-controlled volume stage offering 1dB increments from -79dB to +13dB. A switchable -6dB attenuation accommodates sources with particularly high output, and a second balanced output supports by-amping for listeners who wish to take their system further.
The internal DAC and streaming engine extend that same thinking into the digital domain. Analogue inputs accommodate the traditional sources in your system, while USB, AES, S/PDIF and optical inputs cover everything from a connected computer to a dedicated transport. An Ethernet port brings streaming and networked audio into play, with a second USB port reserved for an optional wireless dongle where a wired connection is not practical.
As sophisticated or as simple as you wish it to be, the Pre Two Mk.II can be operated from the front-panel touchscreen, from a supplied Apple remote, or from a phone or tablet via the mconnect app.
Streaming and network audio
The Pre Two Mk.II supports Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify, MQA and playback from networked storage (NAS) out of the box, all managed via the mconnect app. The module-based design means that, as streaming standards evolve, the Pre Two Mk.II is built to evolve with them — future-proofed by intention, not afterthought.

The Pre Two Mk.II comes in Pure White or Jet Black as standard. Titanium Orange and Titanium Grey are our most popular unique finishes.
