Small IEC inlets
On small IEC inlets, only the inner fuse is used. This fuse is in series with the P / Phase line of the mains and the direction of fuse should be from left to right, when seen from behind the product.
Big IEC inlets
On big IEC inlets, both fuses are used. When seen from behind, the left fuse is in series with the
N / neutral line of the mains and the right fuse is in series with the P / Phase line of the mains.
When seen from behind, the fuse in the left fuse holder should be placed running from bottom to top and the right fuse should be placed running from top to bottom.
Medium IEC Inlet
On medium IEC inlets, both fuses are used. When seen from behind, the left fuse is in series with the
N / neutral line of the mains and the right fuse is in series with the P / Phase line of the mains. An arrow on each fuse is shown on below picture of how directional fuses should be placed in the IEC inlet.
